1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing or using Cabina ("Extension"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please uninstall the Extension.

2. Description of Service

Cabina shows a live transcript of Google Meet calls, built from Google Meet's own captions, which you can review and download in your dashboard. With translation credits it also translates caption lines in real time (Google Cloud Translation) and can read the translation aloud (Google Cloud Text-to-Speech). No API key of your own is needed.

3. Free Plan, Credits & Payments

• Free: The live transcript is free; it is kept on your device for 7 days and can be viewed and downloaded in the dashboard. New accounts also receive, once, about 15 minutes of translation and voice to try (credits valid for 7 days).
• Prepaid credits: Translation, translated voice and saving meetings to your account require prepaid credits. Translation and voice use credits, sold in one-time packs (currently $9, $29 and $59). Each translation or voice request deducts credits from your balance according to the amount of text processed. The hours shown on packs and in the extension are estimates for a typical meeting, not a guaranteed number of hours.
• Validity: Credits are valid for 12 months after your most recent top-up, and each top-up extends your whole remaining balance by 12 months. Any balance left after the expiry date expires and is not restored by a later purchase. The extension reminds you from 30 days before the expiry date. Credits are tied to the Google account you were signed in with and cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash.
• No subscription: Packs are one-time purchases and never renew automatically.
• Payments & refunds: Payments are processed by Polar as our Merchant of Record, and taxes are added where required. Refund requests are handled under Polar's refund policy; if a purchase is refunded, the corresponding credits are removed from your balance.
• Changes: We may change pack prices or the rate at which credits are used for future purchases. Credits already bought keep their value until they expire.

4. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for using Cabina in line with your organization's policies and applicable law, including any rules about transcribing or translating meetings. You agree not to misuse the Extension or its backend (for example, by using it as a general translation service outside Google Meet).

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

Cabina is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Transcription quality and language coverage depend on Google Meet's captions, and machine translation may contain inaccuracies or delays. Do not rely on Cabina as the only record of important decisions.
